Our client seeks a PTP Vendor Onboarding & Supplier Master Data Management Lead to own the end-to-end vendor lifecycle, establish governance, and drive cross-functional alignment across procure-to-pay. The role oversees onboarding, maintenance, and offboarding, ensures compliance and audit readiness, and partners with Technology and functional teams to sustain data integrity across ERP and integrated platforms. The leader will define strategy, build operating controls, measure performance, and deliver continuous improvement.

Rate: $70.00 to $80.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the enterprise vendor onboarding and master data strategy aligned to source-to-pay objectives.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team with clear goals and accountability.
- Serve as executive point of contact for vendor onboarding across business units, implementations, and go-lives.
- Establish governance frameworks, standards, and controls. Monitor performance and drive remediation and optimization.
- Oversee full onboarding workflow from identification and due diligence through approval, contracting, and activation.
- Ensure accurate and timely setup of vendor records including payment terms, banking, tax documentation, and contacts.
- Manage vendor offboarding and deactivation with appropriate controls and audit trails.
- Author and maintain SOPs for onboarding and offboarding in line with policy, regulatory, and system changes.
- Own the supplier onboarding framework and act as SME for validations, documentation, and approvals.
- Develop and enforce onboarding controls and compliance policies including W-9/1099/W-8, TIN matching, and OFAC screening with Process & Compliance.
- Partner with Procurement, Legal, Finance, HR, Tax, Compliance, and Technology to close process gaps and align to risk objectives.
- Maintain vendor master data integrity across ERP such as Oracle Fusion, procurement tools, and third-party applications.
- Collaborate on data field mapping, conversion, and QA for migrations and integrations. Govern integration options for accurate data flow.
- Enforce data governance standards including maker-checker workflows, duplicate management, and audit trails.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements for vendor master data and payment processing.
- Lead SOX compliance activities including documentation and approval controls.
- Manage third-party risk lifecycle including due diligence, onboarding, monitoring, annual reviews, and offboarding.
- Conduct vendor risk tiering and apply due diligence by risk profile.
- Define and monitor KPIs such as cycle times, data accuracy, compliance scores, and vendor satisfaction.
- Deliver executive reporting and dashboards on status and compliance metrics.
- Identify inefficiencies, control gaps, and automation opportunities. Lead redesign and continuous improvement.
- Develop and deliver training for internal teams, new hires, and end users on processes and tools.
- Drive root-cause analysis and partner closely with the Oracle Fusion team to test, document, and implement optimizations.
- 8-10+ years in vendor onboarding, procure-to-pay operations, or master data management with 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion or comparable ERP platforms.
- Deep knowledge of vendor master data governance, data quality, and system integration principles.
- Proven success managing senior cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
- Strong understanding of SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit readiness.
- Experience leading teams through implementations, data migrations, or go-lives.
- Preferred: familiarity with TPRM frameworks, supplier portals, onboarding automation, or MDM software.
- Preferred: knowledge of tax and banking documentation requirements including W-9, 1099, W-8, OFAC, and TIN matching.
- Preferred: experience in media, entertainment, large enterprise, or GBS/shared services environments.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field.
