Senior Program Manager, SSD Operations Excellence
Job : | Services LLC Amazon's Sub Same Day (SSD) Operations Excellence (OpX) team is looking for a Senior Program Manager eager to join a team defining new benchmarks, innovating on processes, and creating a strategy to scale the SSD network for the next three years of growth. The role tackles week-to-week operational hurdles, strategizes and creates roadmaps to improve on-time delivery performance, productivity and quality for upcoming key customer high-volume events, and engages in long-term product pipelines.
- Be the single-threaded owner responsible for defining the strategy for the program and necessary initiatives to uphold that strategy.
- Self-identify problem statements and areas of opportunity, and present these to leadership and business stakeholders.
- Partner with teams across the organization and Amazon to source, allocate, and coordinate resources by driving critical prioritization discussions.
- Manage and deliver results on complex programs and related projects across multiple organizations.
- Gather business requirements for technical and business intelligence integration, negotiate process improvements and required features, distinguishing between important and urgent, and program-specialized vs program-agnostic solutions.
- Create metrics and mechanisms to drive both operational and program improvements.
- Partner with Directors, VPs, and other key operational and technical leaders across the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field.
- 5+ years of program or project management experience.
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
- Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
- Experience working cross functionally with tech teams.
- Experience defining and executing program requirements.
