Position: Information Technology Project Manager-- THADC5837340

The IT Project Manager is responsible for leading the delivery of technology solutions supporting the startup of a large, complex manufacturing facility. This role manages enterprise applications and manufacturing technology initiatives, ensuring successful project execution within scope, schedule, budget, and compliance requirements. The position serves as a key liaison between business teams, IT, engineering, operations, vendors, and system integrators to deliver critical manufacturing systems including MES, WMS, SAP, Blue Yonder, TrakSYS, and supporting plant-floor technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale IT initiatives supporting new manufacturing facility implementation.
  • Develop and manage integrated project schedules, milestones, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Drive accountability for project deliverables across internal teams, vendors, system integrators, and third-party partners.
  • Maintain project governance documentation including RAID logs, action registers, project plans, and executive status reports.
  • Coordinate activities across manufacturing, engineering, operations, quality, supply chain, and IT teams.
  • Manage project dependencies and resolve issues impacting scope, timeline, budget, or delivery objectives.
  • Facilitate project meetings, workshops, decision reviews, and steering committee updates.
  • Manage system integrators, technology vendors, and implementation partners.
  • Monitor vendor performance, project deliverables, and contractual commitments.
  • Support Statement of Work (SOW) management, issue resolution, and project acceptance activities.
  • Coordinate system testing activities including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validation, and readiness assessments.
  • Lead cutover planning, deployment execution, and post-go-live hypercare support.
  • Ensure operational readiness through training, SOP development, support model planning, and knowledge transfer.
  • Identify and manage project risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.
  • Ensure compliance with SDLC processes, cybersecurity requirements, quality standards, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Track project financials, forecasts, resource utilization, and schedule performance.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to executive stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience managing large-scale IT projects and technology implementations.
  • Experience leading greenfield site implementations and/or manufacturing plant shutdown projects.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems including MES, ERP, WMS, and shop-floor technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with validation processes including UAT, IQ/OQ/PQ.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments.
  • Strong project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management skills.
  • Experience managing vendors, system integrators, and implementation partners.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, risk management, and compliance processes.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in regulated industries such as tobacco, pharmaceuticals, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or similar environments.
  • Experience with manufacturing applications including MES, WMS, SAP, Blue Yonder, and TrakSYS.
  • Experience supporting plant-floor technologies and manufacturing automation systems.
  • Experience with large-scale facility startup or transformation programs.
