Role: Back Office Systems Manager(Technical)
Duration: Full-Time
Location: Nashville, TN(Hybrid- 2/3 Days Work from Office)
About role:
The Back Office Systems Manager has the responsibility to oversee the administration, support, and optimization of key enterprise collaboration and communication platforms, including Active Directory (AD), Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Power Platform
. This role is critical to ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our back-office systems and user productivity tools. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and an initiative-taking approach to systems management and service delivery. This position will also troubleshoot problem areas to include diagnosing and resolving problems in a timely and accurate manner and provide end user training and assistance where required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations, configuration, and maintenance of Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, MS Teams, SharePoint, and Zoom platforms.
- Lead system upgrades, patching, and migrations to ensure up-to-date and secure environments.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize system reliability and user experience.
- Collaborate with IT security and compliance teams to enforce policies, manage permissions, and support audits.
- Develop and maintain documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles for supported platforms.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior system / application administrators or support staff.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver scalable collaboration solutions.
- Manage vendor relationships and licensing for associated platforms.
Skills Required:
- AD, Exchange, Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, and Zoom.
- Strong understanding of identity and access management, email infrastructure, and collaboration tools.
- Strong understanding of AD concepts such as domains, forests, trust relationships, and group policies.
- Handson experience with Power Shell scripting and automation.
- Excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment.
- Effective communication.
- Must be available for rotating after hours, including weekends and holidays, on-call schedule.
