Overview
We are seeking two PC Deployment Technicians to support a large-scale enterprise PC refresh project. This position will be responsible for preparing, configuring, and deploying new Windows devices while ensuring a seamless transition for end users. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on technical support, assist with data migration activities, and collaborate closely with the IT team to deliver an efficient and positive user experience.
This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work directly with employees at all organizational levels, including leadership and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, image, configure, and deploy Windows-based devices for end users.
- Coordinate deployment schedules and communicate effectively with users throughout the device replacement process.
- Assist users with transferring files, accounts, and settings to newly deployed devices.
- Support One Drive registration, synchronization, and validation of successful data transfers.
- Utilize Microsoft Intune Company Portal to install, verify, and troubleshoot required applications.
- Remotely access and validate pre-imaged devices before deployment.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting during and after device deployments.
- Document deployment activities, issues, resolutions, and user interactions accurately.
- Collaborate with IT team members to maintain project timelines, deployment quality, and security standards.
- Follow established deployment procedures and support workflows to ensure consistency and compliance.
Technical Skills
- Experience supporting Windows operating systems.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Office 365 technologies.
- Understanding of One Drive setup, synchronization, and data migration processes.
- Experience using Microsoft Intune Company Portal for software deployment and installation.
- Basic troubleshooting and help desk support experience.
- Familiarity with hardware setup, device configuration, and end-user support.
- Assist users with One Drive sign-in, synchronization, and verification of successful file migration.
- Install, validate, and troubleshoot software deployments using Microsoft Intune Company Portal.
- Remotely access pre-configured devices, coordinate deployment schedules, and guide users through the transition process.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional demeanor when supporting employees at all organizational levels.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and recordkeeping.
- Ability to follow structured processes with attention to detail.

- Previous experience supporting PC deployments, device refresh projects, or desktop support initiatives.
- Experience working with ticketing systems and IT service management processes.
- Knowledge of endpoint management tools and enterprise device deployment practices.
- Onsite position in a professional corporate environment located in Antioch, Tennessee.
- Frequent interaction with employees ranging from frontline staff to directors and business leadership.
- Collaborative team environment working alongside experienced IT professionals.
- Structured project-based work with periods of increased deployment activity and volume.
- High visibility role directly impacting employee productivity and operational efficiency.
- Hands-on experience supporting a major enterprise PC refresh initiative.
- Exposure to modern Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365, One Drive, and Intune.

The organization is expanding its deployment team to support a high-volume PC refresh initiative. Additional technicians are needed to ensure device deployments, user migrations, software validation, and deployment scheduling are completed efficiently while minimizing disruption to day-to-day business operations.

This is a Contract position based out of Nashville, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
