AI Transformation Technology Enablement and Platform Leader

Job Title

This role owns the technology side end to end, accountable for delivering the goals: the firm's AI platforms and the licensing behind them, governance that protects client commitments without slowing the work, the technical enablement of all five practices (Assurance, Tax, Advisory, Core Business Services, and the firm's global capability center in India), the delivery of the firm-wide results dashboards release after release, and the process that strengthens and rolls out the best of what colleagues build.

It connects the firm's strategy to its operating model and its technology, and makes the data organization, the IT organization, the digital practice's build teams, and each practice's tool choices operate as a single system.

The role is built as the counterpart of the AI Transformation Operations and Change Management Leader, the senior role on the people side, who owns the champions network, the training curriculum, the change management that makes new ways of working stick, and the business metrics definitions and financial analysis of the program. Technology and people are the two halves of one model;

this role delivers the technology half, including the project management of the dashboard family. It does not sell directly to clients: offerings built on the Firm's transformation go to market through the established practices. Scope grows as the transformation extends across BDO's member firms abroad.

This role reports directly to the AI Enablement Leader and Global BDO Digital Leader. Works day to day with the organization of the firm's Chief Data & AI Officer, which owns technical execution, and in close coordination with the Chief Information Officer's organization on access, security, and data, and in lockstep with the AI Transformation Operations and Change Management Leader.

Job Duties:

• Owns technical enablement end to end, including the technical track of the AI Champions Network. The firm's technical enablement team owns execution; this role answers for the results
• Runs the firm's AI platforms as one set, on one principle: the firm buys once and buys well, so a strong idea in one practice scales to the rest instead of fragmenting into one-off purchases, with clear guidance on which tool for which job
• Defines the technology side of the firm's human-agent operating model: the platforms, guardrails, and connection patterns for managing digital labor alongside human talent, with the counterpart role owning the people and organizational side
• Runs the project management of the dashboard family: the release plan with BDO Digital, and the data feeds from every AI platform recorded the same way
• Develops and operates an agent scaling assessment that moves agents with proven traction through governance review, strengthening, and firm-wide rollout, recognizes agent creators for successful adoption, retires agents when cost exceeds return, and maintains a firm library of connectors that integrate agents with internal systems; supports ongoing innovation growth through internal builder enablement and scaled deployment
• Owns the revenue bridge and the vendor relationships on the technology side: the practice relationships that convert transformation assets into sellable offerings (first examples: the dashboards offered to clients in transformation engagements, and internally built agents that graduate into client offerings), and the firm's strategic AI vendor relationships (Microsoft, Anthropic, OpenAI, and the specialty vendors the practices adopt), including joint go-to-market

Education:

• Bachelor's degree, required
• Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, preferred

Experience:

• Twelve (12) or more years leading technology-enabled transformation, platform organizations, or product delivery at scale, including senior leadership (director or senior director in a global technology company, principal, partner, managing director, or equivalent) in a complex, matrixed organization, required
