VP, BU Business Development

Reporting into the Chief Growth Office, the SAIC Client Executive for National Security and Federal Government will expand SAIC's presence, strategic relationships, and opportunity pipeline across federal government sectors, including defense, the Intelligence Community (IC), and broader national security markets. Operating as a senior executive based in Huntsville, Alabama, this leader will coordinate the full SAIC enterprise to drive growth, leveraging North Alabama’s unique position as a premier, multi-agency hub for military and classified space, federal law enforcement, defense, and intelligence integration.

Responsibilities

• Huntsville-Centric Federal Relationship Leadership
  :
  
  Build, sustain, and leverage trusted senior-level relationships across the entire federal landscape, including the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), U.S. Space Command, the Defense Intelligence Agency, Missile and Space Intelligence Center (MSIC), NGA, the FBI's Redstone Arsenal campus, U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC), U.S. Army Materiel Command (AMC), PEO Missiles and Space, and other major defense, federal, and classified national security organizations in Huntsville and nationally.
• Enterprise-Wide Market Shaping
  :
  
  Shape multi-agency customer requirements and position SAIC as a preferred partner well before formal acquisitions begin, establishing a powerful geographic and strategic beachhead across federal defense, law enforcement, and intelligence markets.
• Mission-to-Capability Integration
  :
  
  Connect diverse federal mission priorities, ranging from critical Army modernization and defense operations to military and classified space initiatives and federal law enforcement, to SAIC’s advanced capabilities in digital engineering, mission IT modernization, cloud migration, cyber security, data analytics, systems integration, and artificial intelligence.
• Unified Federal Pipeline & Integration
  :
  
  Develop and maintain a comprehensive national security and federal government opportunity pipeline. Serve as the cross-company integrator where missions, federal agencies, and geographic hubs overlap across SAIC’s business groups.
• Coordination with Market Leaders
  :
  
  Work in close coordination across all Business Groups and their respective market leaders in Huntsville, including the Army Business Group's Huntsville Account Executive and other account heads, to ensure strategic alignment, maintain clear customer ownership, and present one unified SAIC enterprise to the federal market.
• Local Ecosystem Advocacy & Talent Development

  Active representation and leadership in local federal and defense industry forums (e.g., HASBAT, AUSA, NDIA, and the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber). Coordinate across all Business Groups and respective market leaders to align enterprise resources, security planning, and the recruitment and retention of high-demand, cleared Huntsville-based talent to support complex federal programs.
