Intermediate Systems Analyst

Starbucks is seeking an Intermediate Systems Analyst to support and enhance the applications that power our global coffeehouse operations. In this role, you'll partner with business and technology teams to analyze requirements, troubleshoot and resolve system issues, and configure and improve enterprise applications supporting store, supply chain, and corporate functions. You'll document processes, write clear user stories, support testing and deployments, and use data and SQL to validate solutions.

This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, experience in retail or hospitality systems, and a passion for delivering reliable, partner-focused technology solutions in a collaborative, values-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications for Starbucks enterprise systems.
• Troubleshoot, triage, and resolve application incidents and performance issues, coordinating with technical teams as needed.
• Configure, test, and deploy changes to systems supporting store, supply chain, and corporate operations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve processes and system workflows, ensuring alignment with business goals and partner experience.
• Write clear documentation, including user stories, use cases, process flows, and support materials.
• Use SQL and reporting tools to validate data, support root-cause analysis, and confirm successful deployments.
• Support and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide post-release support.
• Partner with cross-functional IT and business teams in an Agile or hybrid environment to deliver enhancements on schedule.
