Principal Infrastructure Demand Planner

As the Principal Infrastructure Demand Planner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping OCI's network capacity strategy. Your primary responsibility is to own and manage capacity forecasting and planning for a specific segment of OCI's global network, ensuring optimal performance and future-proofing our infrastructure. This role demands a deep understanding of network capacity planning, fiber infrastructure, and capital approval processes, with a focus on backbone, metro, and POP capacity.

Responsibilities include developing and maintaining accurate capacity forecasts for a defined portion of OCI's global network footprint, partnering closely with fiber sourcing teams to secure dark fiber IRUs and plan DWDM/lit wavelength requirements, navigating OCI's capital approval process, collaborating with site design teams on OAD/3AD/POP/Hub site planning, staying updated on industry trends and technologies, conducting regular capacity reviews, building strong relationships with cross-functional teams, documenting and communicating capacity planning processes, and mentoring and guiding junior capacity planners.

Qualifications include a focus on capacity planning, data center or network site design, network engineering, network NOC, telecommunications networking, and site planning.
