This full-time Tier One IT Technician position follows a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, working 8-hour shifts
. It is an on-site role and not remote.
Each day, you will be responsible for supporting dealership staff with software, hardware, and network needs. You'll troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to connectivity, devices, and applications. Communicating closely with store and location managers, you'll ensure that current and future IT needs are addressed and that operations continue without interruption. Whether you're resolving network switch issues, managing open lot Wi‑Fi networks, or installing POE security cameras, your role will be hands‑on and solution‑driven.
You will also handle CAT 6 cabling installs, support IP‑networked security cameras, and coordinate with infrastructure, database, and development teams. Throughout the day, you will clearly communicate plans, progress, and issues, and actively contribute to ongoing process improvement. As needed, you'll take on additional duties or special IT projects to keep our technology ecosystem running efficiently.
- Experience installing and maintaining open lot Wi‑Fi networks
- Experience with IP‑networked security cameras and pulling and installing CAT 6 cabling
- Experience with the installation of POE security cameras with server integration
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Ability and desire to provide excellent customer service to internal customers
- Working knowledge of operating systems and applications
- Ability to work independently, on‑site, and in a dynamic environment
Automotive software experience is a plus. A bachelor's degree in IT, engineering, computer science, or a related field is also a plus.
