Job Overview

Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation is seeking an IS Infrastructure Specialist to support and administer Oracle EBS, Oracle databases, and related infrastructure at 2120 West End Avenue, Nashville, TN 37203.

• Work on Oracle EBS (E-Business Suite) Applications 12.2 and Oracle database 19c.
• Support Oracle EBS on a 19c database using a multitenant architecture.
• Manage a Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) virtualized environment.
• Support environment cloning for Oracle EBS.
• Implement and administer TLS
  1.2 certificates for end‑to‑end encryption of backend services.
• Administer Web Logic/Fusion Middleware.
• Administrate Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) and Oracle Enterprise Command Center (ECC).
• Handle Oracle Application Express (Apex), Bash scripting, and automation tasks.
• Manage full‑stack security patching for Oracle EBS.
• Configure and register Oracle Access Manager (OAM) and Oracle Internet Directory (OID) for single‑sign‑on.
• Design high‑availability architectures and disaster‑recovery plans.
• Manage Data Guard setup and administration.
• Handle RMAN backup and configuration.
• Manage Oracle database performance and tuning.
• Administer Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC), Automatic Storage Management (ASM), and Enterprise Manager (OEM).

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Oracle DBA and Application DBA or a related occupation.
• Experience with Oracle EBS Applications 12.2 and supporting EBS on a 19c multitenant database.
• Experience in a RHEL OS virtualized environment and EBS environment cloning.
• Proficiency with ADOP (Application DBA Online Patching) cycles for EBS patches.
• Strong Bash scripting and automation skills.
• Knowledge of EBS full‑stack security patching standards.
• Capability to configure, administer, and register OAM and OID for single‑sign‑on.
• Experience implementing TLS
  1.2 certificates for secure backend services.
• Web Logic/Fusion Middleware administration experience.
• Administration of ORDS and Oracle ECC.
