Our client, a leading organization in enterprise technology services, is seeking a Linux Administrator to join their team. As a Linux Administrator, you will be part of the Infrastructure Support Department supporting the Patch Management and Security Operations teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: Jersey City, NJ 07311 (Onsite)
Pay Range: 42-48
What's the Job?- Lead the end-to-end patch management and vulnerability remediation lifecycle for Linux servers and Open Shift platforms across enterprise environments.
- Perform patch assessment, testing, deployment, cluster maintenance, compliance reporting, automation, change management, and operational governance.
- Manage patch deployment schedules, maintenance windows, and remediation tracking to ensure platform stability and security.
- Support automation of patch deployment and post-patch validation processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Administer enterprise Linux environments, perform Linux OS patching, troubleshoot system issues, and support security compliance initiatives.
- Strong Open Shift administration and platform support experience.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise patch management and automation tools (Ansible, Satellite, SCCM, Tanium, Big Fix or equivalent).
- Strong shell scripting and automation skills (Bash, Python, Ansible).
- Deep knowledge of Linux security, vulnerability remediation, and compliance frameworks.
