AEO & GEO Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Search Optimization Specialist with expertise in AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization). This role focuses on optimizing content for AIpowered search systems, including answer engines, generative search models, semantic search platforms, and LLMdriven query systems.

You will work at the intersection of SEO, AI, structured content, and search behavior
, ensuring our content is discoverable, contextually accurate, and favored by modern AI search engines.

• Optimize content for AI answer engines
  , featured snippets, knowledge panels, and zeroclick search results.
• Structure content for intentbased search
  , conversational queries, and entitydriven ranking.
• Implement schema markup, structured data, and semantic tagging.
• Improve clarity, factual accuracy, and answerreadiness of content.
• Monitor performance across Google, Bing, Perplexity, ChatGPT Search, and other AIdriven platforms.

• Optimize content for LLMbased search
  , generative summaries, and AIconstructed answers.
• Create content frameworks that improve visibility in AI generated responses
  .
• Map user intents to generative search patterns and conversational flows.
• Conduct promptbased testing to evaluate how AI systems interpret and surface content.
• Collaborate with product, content, and data teams to improve generative search outcomes.

• Perform keyword research adapted for AI search
  , including entities, relationships, and semantic clusters.
• Analyze competitor performance in AIpowered search environments.
• Build structured, authoritative content that AI systems trust and cite.
• Track algorithm updates for AI search engines and generative platforms.
• Produce detailed reports on AEO/GEO performance, ranking shifts, and visibility metrics.

• 3-8 years of experience in SEO, AI search optimization, or digital content strategy.
• Understanding of LLMs, semantic search, vector search, and AI ranking signals
  .
• Handson experience with tools like GA4, GSC, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Surfer, or similar.
• Familiarity with schema markup, structured data, and entitybased optimization.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work cross functionally with content, engineering, and product teams.

• Experience optimizing content for AI search engines (ChatGPT Search, Perplexity, Bing Copilot, etc.).
• Experience with prompt engineering or AI content evaluation.
