Overview

General Placement Service is recruiting on behalf of a top-rated global insurance carrier. They seek to hire an Underwriting Manager to implement underwriting strategy and drive business. The successful candidate will operate out of the Nashville, TN office and service clientele in the southeast region of the U.S.

The products are casualty focused

Responsibilities
  • Drive growth
  • Work with internal staff to maximize company goals
  • Develop underwriting strategy
  • Direct product development and training sessions
  • Ensure compliance
  • Occasional travel
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of commercial underwriting experience
  • 4+ years of P&C and/or Workers  Compensation underwriting experience
  • Ability to travel
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Industry designations strongly preferred
