Pro Bono Coordinator

The Pro Bono Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting Pillsbury’s attorney-led pro bono program, ensuring attorneys have meaningful opportunities to contribute their skills to those in need. This position supports both firmwide and local office specific initiatives, maintaining key partnerships, facilitating attorney participation, and ensuring compliance with reporting and recognition efforts. By streamlining administrative processes, fostering inter-office collaboration, and promoting a culture of service, the Pro Bono Coordinator strengthens Pillsbury’s commitment to equal justice and social impact.

Their work not only enhances the firm’s reputation but also empowers attorneys to engage in pro bono work that aligns with their expertise and interests.

The Pro Bono Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Pro Bono Committee Chair and Vice Chair, in the strategic management and expansion of Pillsbury’s firmwide, attorney-led Pro Bono Program.

Work with external vendors (e.g., Elegrity) to improve firmwide pro bono processes. QUALIFICATIONS At least 2 years of legal project management experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm. Pro bono management experience at a law firm or a legal services organization is a plus.

Ability to use good judgment, initiative, and command of resources to accomplish results. Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with a diverse group of attorneys and staff.

Ability to multitask and work independently. Flexibility and ability to prioritize a continually changing workload. Ability to work well under pressure and be self-motivated. Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Adobe.
