Warehouse Receiver & Runner

SHIFT

Open availability to work any 8.5-hour shift between 6 AM - 6 PM. Availability on Saturday & Sunday is required.

• Safely and accurately receive and store products in appropriate areas.
• Use the automated requisition system to fulfill the needs of the locations. (Training provided)
• Safely and accurately deliver inventory to designated stores or storage locations using a two‑wheeler, rolling cart, or motorized cart.
• Perform inventory control and specialized store support activities.
• Certain schedules and work weeks may necessitate a focus on receiving, selection and delivery, inventory control, and store support; however, employees will be cross‑trained and responsible for all general warehouse functions.
• Participate in the protection of our product and customers by executing all housekeeping and food safety sanitation tasks.

• Must be able to pass a 10‑year TSA criminal background check.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months of experience in a material handling environment.
• Familiarity with process‑management procedures preferred.
• Minimum age – 18 years.

Airport: This position operates in a climate‑controlled international airport environment. The temperature, volume of noise, and exposure to the public are outside the control of First Meridian Services, Inc. The position requires use of public spaces as provided by the airport.

Restaurant: This position may require frequent exposure to a restaurant or retail operation environment. Regular exposure to varying temperatures (hot/cold/freezing), fumes, vapors, industrial restaurant equipment, noise, and guests will be common.

Warehouse: This position requires frequent exposure to an outdoor environment, under a breezeway. Therefore, exposure to weather conditions such as high heat, humidity, snow, or extreme cold conditions is common.

The nature of restaurant work requires the Warehouse Team Member to possess certain physical abilities. These are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform this job. Most of the workday is spent standing or walking and working in close proximity to others. Eye‑hand coordination, depth perception, finger dexterity, and functional vision and speech perception are required. Some bending, crouching, pushing/pulling up to 80 lbs, and lifting/lowering up to 50 lbs.

Some repetitive motions with hands, wrists, or arms. Must be able to operate all equipment used in the warehouse. Some exposure to skin irritants, electrical equipment, and sharp instruments. Risk to these exposures is minimized by strict adherence to company standards, policies, and procedures.
