Job Summary

Dispenses medical/surgical supplies and patient care equipment with regular guidance, ensuring appropriate supplies are ordered, received, and inventory levels are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide materials and equipment requested in a timely manner.
  • Assemble carts for distribution.
  • Ensure supplies are in a clean and safe working condition and environment.
  • Maintain adequate supply in storage locations.
  • Clean, prepare, and test specialty beds or equipment for safety.
  • Capture patient charges for supplies (as required).
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Technical Capabilities
  • Customer Service (Novice):
    Focus on the needs and requirements of customers, anticipate their needs, remain sensitive, and respond to needs.
  • Inventory Management (Novice):
    Monitor material movement into and out of stock, reconcile inventory balances, and maintain adequate inventory levels.
  • Equipment Inspections (Novice):
    Systematically check whether equipment meets specified requirements.

Position Qualifications
  • Work Experience:

    Relevant work experience, less than 1 year.
  • Education:

    High School Diploma or GED.
