We're looking for motivated students ready to gain hands-on experience in transportation, logistics, data analytics, and supply chain operations while supporting Schneider Electric's North America Supply Chain network. Through this co-op opportunity, you'll gain hands-on experience in transportation, logistics, and supply chain analytics while partnering with experienced professionals across Schneider Electric's North America Supply Chain organization.
You'll help improve shipment visibility, analyze transportation performance, support operational excellence initiatives, and contribute to projects that enhance efficiency across domestic and cross-border freight networks.
What will you do:
- Support daily transportation and supply chain operations by monitoring shipment activity across domestic and cross-border freight networks.
- Assist with transportation issue resolution by helping identify root causes, escalating risks, and contributing to short- and long-term corrective actions.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret transportation and supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Excel and Tableau to support decision-making and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with carriers, suppliers, distribution centers, procurement teams, and other supply chain stakeholders to support seamless logistics operations.
- Assist in monitoring transportation costs, carrier performance, and key supply chain metrics to help drive operational excellence.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing transportation efficiency, service levels, and overall supply chain performance.
- Participate in transportation and supply chain projects, including process improvements, system enhancements, and operational initiatives.
What qualifications will make you successful:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree with Junior or Senior standing in:
Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, International Business, Logistics Operations Management, or a related field. - Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to organize, analyze, and report data.
- Exposure to Tableau or other business intelligence/data visualization tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Interest in pursuing a career in supply chain, logistics, transportation, or operations.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate within cross-functional teams.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced supply chain environment.
- Ability to commute to our Nashville, Tennessee office.

Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level.
