Logistic Specialist - Logistic Specialist III
Type: 6-month contract
Location:
Nashville TN
Pay Range: $15 - $17/hr
Day to day:
- Monitor and manage freight movement across client's transportation network, ensuring on-time pickup and delivery while resolving transportation disruptions in real time.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for carriers, drivers, rail partners, and internal teams by providing timely communication, troubleshooting issues, and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Research transportation issues using internal systems, analyze operational data and trends, and support reporting to improve network performance and customer experience.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to create repair requests, monitor load execution, and coordinate solutions that minimize delays and maintain operational efficiency.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume operations environment while adhering to schedules, supporting peak business demands, and making data-driven decisions to keep freight moving efficiently.
Must haves:
- 1+ years of customer service, call center, transportation, logistics, or supply chain experience.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience using MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and working with multiple computer systems.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume call center or operations environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Plusses:
- Transportation or supply chain operations experience.
- Experience supporting carriers, drivers, or logistics partners.
- Experience analyzing operational data and identifying trends.
- Experience working cross-functionally with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
