Driver
The Shuttle Driver is responsible for transporting guests to and from the hotel, hospital, casino and local area in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner, while maintaining safe driving practices and assisting guests with luggage.
Compensation is a base hourly rate of $14 per hour, plus $5–$9 per hour in tips. There is no CDL required and all shifts are available; select shifts receive bonus pay.
Core Responsibilities- Shuttle guests to approved destinations, learning and remembering pickup and drop points.
- Provide courteous communication via telephone, two‑way radio, and in person, greeting guests within 30 seconds and using appropriate salutations.
- Inspect the vehicle before each shift for operational safety, correct tire inflation, and cleanliness, and record any maintenance issues.
- Protect guest confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and maintain security of client financial and personal information.
- Assist patrons with entering and exiting vehicles, including operation of wheelchair lifts and cleaning wheelchairs after use.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid driver’s license, and pass a criminal background check, MVR, drug screen, and annual/semiannual MVR check.
- Experience with manual transmission vehicles and wheelchair safety training (required).
- Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with money up to 100 dollars.
- Strong written and verbal communication in English and the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos, and correspondence.
Pay and benefits:
