Our client is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing and category management efforts across a diverse portfolio of non-food spend categories, including FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment), Smallwares, Equipment, Capital Projects (Cap Ex), and Packaging
. This role will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies, negotiating supplier agreements, driving cost optimization initiatives, and ensuring supply continuity across a growing restaurant organization.

Key Responsibilities

Our client is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing and category management efforts across a diverse portfolio of non-food spend categories, including FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment), Smallwares, Equipment, Capital Projects (Cap Ex), and Packaging
. This role will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies, negotiating supplier agreements, driving cost optimization initiatives, and ensuring supply continuity across a growing restaurant organization.

, experience managing complex supplier relationships, and a proven track record of delivering savings while supporting operational excellence and growth initiatives.

  • Develop and execute category strategies for FF&E, Smallwares, Equipment, Packaging, and Cap Ex-related purchases.
  • Lead strategic sourcing events, RFPs, contract negotiations, and supplier selection processes.
  • Identify and implement cost savings, value engineering, and process improvement initiatives across assigned categories.
  • Partner with Operations, Development, Construction, Facilities, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to support restaurant growth and capital investment plans.
  • Manage supplier performance through established KPIs focused on quality, service, cost, innovation, and delivery.
  • Support new restaurant openings, remodel programs, and equipment replacement initiatives.
  • Evaluate market trends, industry benchmarks, and supplier capabilities to ensure competitive sourcing strategies.
  • Negotiate favorable commercial terms, rebates, service agreements, and long-term contracts.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure continuity of supply and minimize disruption to restaurant operations.
  • Present sourcing strategies, supplier recommendations, and savings opportunities to executive leadership.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive procurement, sourcing, or category management experience.
  • Restaurant, food service, hospitality, or multi-unit retail industry experience required.
  • Experience managing one or more of the following categories:
    • FF&E
    • Smallwares
    • Restaurant Equipment
    • Packaging
    • Capital Expenditures (Cap Ex)
    • Facilities or Construction-related spend
  • Strong contract negotiation and supplier management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex sourcing initiatives and deliver measurable cost savings.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and project management skills.
  • Advanced Excel and ERP/Procurement system experience.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting large-scale restaurant development, remodel, or franchise growth initiatives.
  • Background managing national supplier networks and strategic sourcing programs.
  • CPSM, CPM, CSCP, or related procurement certification.
  • Experience with sustainability, packaging innovation, or supplier diversity initiatives.
