At Starbucks, the Senior Sourcing Manager shapes and executes sourcing strategies that connect business needs with supplier capabilities to drive long-term value. The role serves as a strategic partner across the organization, building alignment among stakeholders, navigating competing priorities, and leveraging supplier relationships to unlock innovation, strengthen supply resiliency, and support business growth. Through effective collaboration, influence, and commercial leadership, this position helps deliver sustainable results while protecting supply and advancing Starbucks' strategic objectives.

• Lead Strategic Sourcing & Business Growth:
  Develop and execute multi-year sourcing strategies that drive business growth, align with company objectives, and incorporate stakeholder needs, market insights, sustainability, ethical sourcing, and supplier diversity considerations.
• Deliver Value Through Supplier Partnerships:
  Build and execute value creation strategies by leveraging deep category expertise, supplier relationships, market intelligence, and innovation to drive cost savings, margin protection, operational excellence, and long-term business value.
• Ensure Supply Continuity &
  
  Risk Management:
  
  Lead contract negotiations, supplier performance management, and risk mitigation efforts to protect supply, strengthen supplier partnerships, and ensure resilient, compliant, and efficient supply chain operations.

We’d love to hear from people with:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering or other related fields preferred.
• Years of experience in specific field or utilizing designated skills (minimum needed to be qualified): 4+ years sourcing experience.

• Sourcing Foundations:
  Intermediate knowledge of procurement processes such as category sourcing strategies, supplier relationship management, risk management, and key legal terms. Expert knowledge of procurement processes such as RFXs, market analysis, should-cost’ models, and standard legal protections (i.e. confidentiality agreements). Helps other sourcing partners succeed through knowledge sharing of key sourcing foundations.
• Problem Solving & Business Acumen:
  Proactively identifies and addresses problems constructively and takes action to resolve.
• Teamwork:
  Effectively influences across peer groups and senior management level on complex strategy and demonstrates leadership.
• Project Management:
