POSITION: Business Central Supply Chain Consultant
LOCATION: Remote
Role PurposeThe Business Central Supply Chain Consultant is responsible for leading the implementation and optimization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Supply Chain and Warehouse Management solutions. This role requires extensive experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, procurement, logistics, distribution, and supply chain consulting within Business Central environments, particularly for warehouse-based operations.
Key Responsibilities Supply Chain Solution Design & Delivery- Lead discovery workshops and process mapping sessions.
- Gather, analyses, and document client requirements.
- Configure Business Central Supply Chain and Warehouse Management modules.
- Facilitate solution design workshops.
- Lead functional testing and user acceptance testing.
Provide expertise across:
- Warehouse Operations
- Receiving
- Put-away
- Picking
- Packing
- Shipping
- Bin management
- Inventory valuation
- Item tracking
- Lot control
- Serial number tracking
- Cycle counting
- Vendor management
- Purchasing processes
- Approval workflows
- Procurement optimization
- Demand forecasting
- Inventory planning
- MRP
- Replenishment policies
- Transfer orders
- Distribution planning
- Multi-site inventory management
- Warehouse productivity improvements
- Extensive Business Central Supply Chain consulting experience.
- Significant warehouse management experience.
- Deep understanding of inventory, logistics, distribution, and procurement processes.
- Experience delivering Business Central implementations in warehousing environments.
- Strong client-facing consulting skills.
- Successfully implement Business Central Supply Chain and Warehouse Management solutions.
- Improve warehouse efficiency and inventory accuracy.
- Deliver measurable improvements in procurement and replenishment processes.
- Become a trusted advisor to supply chain and warehouse leadership teams.
- Contribute implementation templates and knowledge assets for future projects.
