Buckingham is seeking an experienced maintenance professional who leads by example, demonstrating confidence with humility amongst teammates. As an extension of the community’s Maintenance Supervisor, the Assistant Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for maintaining optimal resident experience, property performance, and presentation.

You will assist the Maintenance Supervisor with overall maintenance functions of the apartment community.

Duties include:

• Repair and maintenance of HVAC systems, electrical/mechanical systems, plumbing, grounds, structural elements, and mechanical equipment.
• Refurbishment of apartments.
• Oversee maintenance personnel in collaboration or in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Cooperate with the Maintenance Supervisor in scheduling and on‑call maintenance.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
• Reliable transportation and availability for 24‑hour, on‑call maintenance as scheduled.
• Owned smartphone device (cell phone reimbursement will be awarded).
• Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance in multifamily properties.
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
