Floor Technician

About the Role
NHC Place at the Trace is seeking a full‑time Floor Technician (Monday‑Friday). The Floor Technician assists with the maintenance of floor finishes to ensure a safe and efficient environment of care for patients, visitors, and employees. The position is responsible for the sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition of the facility and performs manual tasks to maintain housekeeping standards. While working independently, the role remains under continual supervisor review.

• Clean and service facility building areas.
• Move furniture, equipment, and supplies in and around facility departments.
• Dust, mop, wet mop, buff floors, shampoo carpets, and periodically strip and refinish floors.
• Wash walls, windows, vacuum ceiling vents, and gather and dispose of trash and dirty linen as required.
• Clean light fixtures, doors, and high places using a step ladder when necessary.
• Perform other routine facility housekeeping tasks per established schedules and procedures.
