Our client is an established manufacturing company supporting a high-volume production environment. The organization is focused on safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement while maintaining reliable plant operations. They are currently looking to add a Maintenance Supervisor to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:$92,366 - $120,000 Annually (Depending on experience)
Position Overview:The Maintenance Supervisor will lead maintenance operations in a manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for coordinating maintenance activities, reducing equipment downtime, supporting preventative maintenance programs, and ensuring safe and efficient plant operations. The schedule is from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Supervisor:- Supervise and coordinate maintenance personnel and contractors.
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of equipment issues and plant downtime.
- Support preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
- Promote and enforce safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with maintenance planning, scheduling, and work prioritization.
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, and leadership teams to support production goals.
- Maintain maintenance records and equipment data.
- Coordinate parts, tools, and vendor support for maintenance activities.
- Support employee training, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage employee timekeeping and overtime tracking.
- 3+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, and CMMS systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience leading and developing maintenance teams.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
- Technical degree or engineering background.
- Hands-on maintenance or skilled trades experience.
- Experience supporting industrial equipment and manufacturing operations.
- Experience working in a union environment.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
- Relevant industrial, maintenance, or technical experience will be considered.
