This position involves all responsibilities associated with maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the hospital. The role is crucial for ensuring a hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Strip beds, make beds, and transport bedding to the laundry bins.
- Clean bathrooms thoroughly.
- Sweep, mop, and wax floors.
- Perform high and low dusting.
- Clean, wipe, and sanitize surfaces.
- Frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
Essential
Skills:
- Minimum of 6 months of cleaning experience in schools, hospitals, or any janitorial setting.
- Proficiency in janitorial and custodial tasks.
- Experience in hospital or commercial cleaning is highly desirable.
- Competency in floor care and floor cleaning.
Work Environment:
We currently have three openings on the 1st shift and four openings on the 2nd shift. 2nd shift workers must train on the 1st shift for one week. Shifts are from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (1st shift) and 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm (2nd shift). Team members need to be available to work every other weekend. Uniform requirements include black scrubs and recommended non-slip shoes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.50/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
