Position SummaryThe Valet Area Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, staff management, and client relationships across multiple valet parking locations within a designated area. This role ensures smooth, efficient, and profitable operations while maintaining high standards of customer service, safety, and employee performance. The Area Manager works closely with property partners, internal teams, and senior leadership to ensure operational excellence and guest satisfaction.

To lead and support valet teams across multiple locations, ensuring exceptional service delivery, operational efficiency, and financial success through strong leadership, strategic planning, and relationship management.
Duties and Responsibilities- Operational Oversight:
Manage daily operations across multiple valet locations, ensuring smooth traffic flow, efficient service, and safety compliance. Conduct site visits and audits to uphold company standards, address operational issues, and ensure alignment with client expectations. - Staff Management:
Oversee recruitment, training, and supervision of valet staff; manage schedules to ensure proper coverage and labor cost control; provide ongoing coaching and performance evaluations. - Client Relations:
Act as the main contact for property managers and business partners, promptly resolving concerns, ensuring client satisfaction, and identifying opportunities to expand services. - Financial Management:
Oversee budgets, revenue, and expenses to meet financial goals; ensure accurate cash handling and reporting; analyze performance metrics to implement strategies that maximize profitability. - Safety and Compliance:
Ensure all locations follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries; conduct regular safety meetings, audits, and ongoing staff training to promote a safe work environment. - Customer Service Leadership:
Promote a customer-first culture; provide staff support and training; handle escalated guest concerns and resolve issues quickly. - Technology and Reporting:
Use valet management software to track operations and revenue; review reports to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities. - Travel and Communication:
Travel may be required for site visits and new account launches; maintain ongoing communication and updates. - Supervisory Responsibilities:
Involve staff in planning, decision-making, and process improvement; maintain open leadership style; provide feedback and support development. - Additional Responsibilities:
Flexible as needed to support company objectives; attend required staff meetings and training; may require flexible hours and occasional travel.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must be able to analyze complex revenue and payroll data, identify discrepancies, investigate root causes of operational inefficiencies, and develop effective solutions.
Education/
Experience:
High school diploma or GED; 3 years minimum previous supervisory and customer service/hospitality experience preferred; management or leadership training/certifications/business preferred.
Certificates and Licenses: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; maintain acceptable motor vehicle record with no more than three moving violations within three years; maintain clean background check.
Work Environment and Physical DemandsThe work environment includes indoor and outdoor settings, requiring collaboration with teams, vendors, and clients on-site and in corporate environments. Requires extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, and lifting moderate weights.
