Farm Manager

This is a full-time on-site role for a Farm/Property Manager, located in Nashville, TN. The Farm/Property Manager will oversee daily operations of the property, including managing agricultural activities, land maintenance, and overall property upkeep. Responsibilities include supervising workers, maintaining equipment, ensuring proper care for crops/livestock (if applicable), implementing sustainable farming practices, managing budgets, coordinating projects, ensuring regulatory compliance, and addressing any operational challenges that arise.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience in agriculture, farming operations, land maintenance, and property management
• Experience with heavy equipment including tractors and skid steers
• Hunting experience and knowledge
• Proficiency in managing budgets, record-keeping, and operational planning
• Experience in supervising teams, managing schedules, and coordinating tasks
• Ability to operate and maintain farming and landscaping equipment
• Knowledge of sustainable farming practices, safety standards, and local farming-related regulations
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to address challenges effectively
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to work with staff, vendors, and property stakeholders
• Prior experience in a similar management role preferred
• Degree or certification in agriculture, horticulture, property management, or related fields is a plus
