Job Description – What you will doThe VP of Programming & Booking will lead efforts in creating a full and diverse programming calendar of major events for new Nissan Stadium, setting and executing the strategic vision for event programming at the new venue. With a focus on establishing the building’s national and global reputation, maximizing revenues and delivering a world-class schedule of events, this role will collaborate with stadium operations and revenue leaders to deliver the best event opportunities for guests, artists and the organization.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key local and national promoters, city agencies, booking agents, artist teams and production agencies to secure events for Nissan Stadium and adjoining campus areas.
- Identify new events and programming opportunities across a variety of event types to cultivate a diverse and compelling annual event lineup.
- Lead negotiation process management of financial terms, obligations and costs.
- Create and deploy new stadium major event RFP process including collateral development, SOPs for approvals and cross-department coordination and city group alignment.
- Support marketing and branding efforts of the stadium and shows, in coordination with marketing teams.
- Develop and manage event-specific budgets and P&Ls, ensuring financial accountability and identifying cost‑saving opportunities.
- Manage hospitality, outreach and gifting for artists, promoters and clients.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in business development, venue sales, and/or event planning.
- At least 5 years of experience in leadership or supervisory roles.
- Proficiency in venue management systems (e.g. Momentous).
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and handle situations with discretion and tact.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a high‑performing team, setting clear goals and expectations.
- Proven success in developing and executing sales strategies that drive measurable results.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and P&Ls.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a client‑first mindset and ability to balance experience with revenue goals.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on event scheduling
