Overview

Nashville, TN - 50% Travel required. Regional Market Manager – Remote. Join a global team of approximately 48,000 professionals who support brands including DEWALT, BLACK+DECKER, CRAFTSMAN, STANLEY, CUB CADET, and HUSTLER.

The Job

As a Regional Market Manager, you’ll be part of our Commercial Construction field sales team as a remote employee in your assigned territory of the greater Tennessee markets. You’ll get to:

  • Establish aggressive but accurate sales targets and forecasts that meet and exceed divisional expectations.
  • Devise full-year strategic plans to achieve top-line sales targets, aiming to grow the business double digits over the prior year while meeting established P&L goals for the local market and staying within assigned travel and budget limits.
  • Foster and advance key account relationships including ownership, management, marketing, and sales.
  • Develop a highly engaged team of direct reports through mentoring and training to meet potential and objectives of the division.
  • Understand and effectively leverage critical business systems including BW, Tool Commerce, , dashboards, opportunities, and WIGs.
The Person

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related fields;
    Master’s Degree preferred. Relevant construction field experience could substitute for higher education.
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales or Marketing for Construction Supplies with a proven track record; 3+ years of direct managerial experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, verbal and written communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to meld empathy with determination to achieve outstanding results.
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to travel up to 50% within territory.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications:
    Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
