Position Overview
Under direct supervision of the Vice President of Leadership Giving, the Director of Corporate Partnerships will manage all aspects of TPAC’s Corporate Giving pillar, with the objective of creating a sustainable pipeline and increased support for TPAC’s future. This individual enjoys leading by example in cultivating and soliciting significant commitments and will play a significant role in executing a sustainable institutional giving strategy to support TPAC’s vision for its future.
- Reporting directly to the VP of Leadership Giving, create and execute highly successful institutional giving strategies to meet TPAC’s ambitious annual giving goals and generate a robust pipeline for sustainable giving and growth.
- Manage all aspects of corporate fundraising efforts in support of TPAC’s mission and initiatives;
Maintain a proposal and stewardship calendar for these efforts. - Determine and execute strategy for the cultivation, solicitation, engagement, and fulfillment of TPAC’s corporate giving partners.
- Work closely with TPAC’s Marketing and Communications team to ensure sponsorship fulfillment needs are met.
- Maintain a portfolio of approximately 75 annual and capital campaign prospects and current partners, spending a minimum of 50% of time on external, face-to-face corporate visitation.
- Craft compelling, innovative, and data- and outcome- driven proposals, including high-level and multi-faceted strategies (cause marketing, giving programs, relationships with senior executives, employee volunteerism, and gifts and services in kind).
- Oversee TPAC’s Corporate Membership Program, Business Leaders for the Arts, to meet budget fundraising goals aligned with the program.
- Responsible for meeting fundraising goals aligned with TPAC’s fundraising events, including TPAC Gala, Family Day, and TPAC’s Marquee Classic golf tournament.
- Work in concert and meet regularly with the Senior Director of Grants to ensure fundraising goals are met or exceeded and funding opportunities are maximized.
- In collaboration with the VP of Leadership Giving and Sr. Director of Grants, develop detailed strategies, with metrics, for each gift solicitation and ensure that the progress of each strategy is documented.
- Leading by example, increase corporate relationships, loyalty, and level of support through engagement with TPAC education programs and community initiatives with a keen focus on in-person meetings and relentless stewardship.
- Actively enters plans, steps, and call reports in Tessitura to document and track solicitation efforts and results in a timely manner. Conceives and executes corporate prospecting strategies to build corporate donor pipelines.
- Participate in monthly review of portfolio with Institutional Advancement staff and provide regular updates on corporate gift projections.
- Prepare gift updates and opportunities for weekly meetings with the Vice President of Leadership Giving.
Team Responsibilities
- Represent TPAC in the community while also actively visible at TPAC special events and in the Donor Lounge at TPAC performances, especially during Broadway and new series offerings, including dance, theater, and family programming. Attendance at evening and weekend functions is expected.
- Support other fundraising colleagues to share knowledge and experience on strategy, relationship management, knowledge of donors, and other areas of best practice.
- Regularly strategize and collaborate with Institutional Advancement and Event staff to identify and involve volunteer leadership in the cultivation and solicitation of corporate and foundation partners.
- As TPAC evolves, so may this role. As the corporate pipelines grow, duties may change as leadership identifies new opportunities for the organization’s future.

QualificationsSkills and Knowledge
