Overview
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will set up and operate advanced CNC press brakes to form high-end metal details and architectural products. This is a custom manufacturing environment where precision is paramount. You will work from mechanical drawings, handle complex setups, and ensure every angle and dimension meets rigorous aesthetic and structural standards.
We are looking for detailed operators who take pride in quality and thrive in a safety-first, collaborative shop.
Profiles encouraged to apply include: experienced CNC press brake operators, precision sheet metal fabricators, machine operators with setup experience, and detail-oriented tradespeople familiar with Trumpf or Safan-Darley equipment.
Compensation- $18 - $24 / hr
- Shift differential on 2nd
- 1st and 2nd shift
- 11 hour shifts

- Execute CNC Press Brake Setup & Operation – Perform daily setups and operation of advanced CNC press brakes. You must be able to run the machine at a high level, ensuring the production of accurate parts that meet strict geometric requirements.
- Interpret Blueprints & Manage Programs – Read and fully understand mechanical drawings and part tolerances. You will upload and run programs from the machine controller and perform basic programming adjustments as needed.
- Perform Rigorous Quality Inspections – Demonstrate proficiency in first article, in-process, and final inspections. You are the first line of defense in ensuring finished products meet our quality standards before they leave your station.
- Handle Material & Logistics – Load raw materials at the machine, operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely, and responsibly package finished parts according to specific customer requirements.
- Maintain Equipment & Tooling – Monitor equipment health, perform preventative maintenance schedules, and manage press tooling requests to keep the machinery working properly and efficiently.
- Collaborate & Assist Teammates – Work with management to prioritize safety and efficiency, and be willing to assist other operators as a helper on other machines to support the overall flow of the shop.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Demonstrated experience setting up and operating CNC Press Brakes
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and part tolerances
- Proficiency in using inspection tools (calipers, protractors, tapes)
- Physical ability to load materials and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to operate a forklift and overhead crane
- Experience running Trumpf and Safan-Darley equipment
- Ability to perform basic programming at the machine controller
- Ability to run other basic fabrication equipment
- Basic computer navigation skills
- Precision Form-Setter – You understand that in architectural work, accuracy is everything. You can set up a machine to produce accurate parts on the first run.
- CNC Controller Pro – You are comfortable interacting with machine technology, uploading programs, and making the necessary adjustments to get the job done.
- Quality-Driven Operator – You take ownership of your output, performing diligent inspections to ensure no defective parts move down the line.
- Flexible Shop Contributor – You are a team player who is willing to jump in and assist colleagues or run other fabrication equipment when the production schedule demands it.
