Job Description: Quality Manager – Electronics Manufacturing (Contract)

Location: LaVergne, TN (Onsite at supplier factory)

Duration: 6-month contract (extension or conversion possible)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, onsite

Start: ASAP

2 Openings

• Work onsite at a supplier factory to identify and resolve manufacturing and quality issues
• Debug issues in real time across test, repair, and debug operations
• Optimize factory flow to improve throughput and cycle time
• Analyze production data using Excel to identify trends and bottlenecks
• Perform physical inspections and deep dives into product and process issues
• Collaborate daily with internal engineering, quality, and supply chain teams
• Communicate status, risks, and priorities clearly to stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, process, or quality engineering
• Hands‑on experience in electronics manufacturing
• Understanding of factory operations and throughput optimization
• Strong Excel and basic data analysis skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting new product launches or production ramps
• Background in consumer, automotive, or industrial electronics
• Comfortable working in fast‑paced, ambiguous factory environments

• Speed and effectiveness in resolving issues
• Ability to keep product flowing through the factory
• Overall contribution to units shipped

• Direct impact on a critical hardware launch
• Highly hands‑on engineering work
• Exposure to senior technical leadership
• Strong potential for extension or conversion
