Headquartered in Cordova, TN, Stratas Foods is a 50/50 joint venture formed in October 2008 between ACH Food Companies and Archer Daniels Midland Company. Perform duties associated with the shipping and receiving of products and supplies.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesEducation:
Minimum of high school diploma or GED required.
Related
Experience:
Experience in food preparation or industrial setting preferred.
Equipment/Software
Skills:
Fully working knowledge of MS Office applications;
World Ship knowledge a plus
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
Forklift/Industrial Truck certification required. Able to operate a pallet jack.
- Must be able to read/write/speak English, must be able to do basic arithmetic.
- Must be able to write clearly.
- Must be able to communicate with other employees in a clear and professional manner.
Physical:
Must be able to walk throughout the plant, to include walking and climbing up/downstairs. Must have be ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally is required and must be able to wear a respirator required.
Sensory:
Must have the appropriate level of sensory acuity (visual, hearing, speaking, smell and touch) to be able to identify and react to normal, abnormal and alarm conditions (chemicals, temperature, etc.)
Mental/Reasoning:
Must be able to analyze information quickly to provide feedback in the manufacturing process and troubleshoot equipment failures.
