CNC Metrology Engineer
A growing precision machining company in the Nashville area is hiring an Engineer focused on CNC machining and in-process metrology experience. This role supports close-tolerance production by building and improving on-machine probing processes, real-time measurement feedback, and closed-loop machining.
You'll be a great fit if you:
- You have strong CNC machining experience, especially in milling operations.
- You have hands-on experience with on-machine probing and metrology systems, including Hexagon tools.
- You can program and troubleshoot measurement routines using PC-DMIS or similar software.
- You understand GD&T, blueprint reading, and how to use measurement data to improve process capability.

To be considered, you'll need: A bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred. You should have at least 3 years of CNC machining experience and hands-on experience with on-machine probing or metrology systems. Experience with Hexagon tools, PC-DMIS, GD&T, and process capability analysis will strengthen your candidacy. Experience in aerospace or other high-precision manufacturing is a plus.
