Jarvis Signs is seeking an experienced ADA Sign Production Technician to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for producing high-quality, ADA-compliant signage through every stage of production—from printing and fabrication to assembly, quality inspection, and packaging.
If you have experience in sign manufacturing, digital printing, CNC routing, laser engraving, vinyl application, or custom fabrication, we'd like to hear from you.
What You’ll Do- Operate and maintain Mimaki UV printers to produce high-quality ADA signage.
- Fabricate and assemble ADA-compliant signs using aluminum, acrylic, vinyl, and other sign materials.
- Create and prepare braille and production cut files using CorelDRAW, Ruby Software, and Mimaki Raster Link.
- Operate CNC routers for braille routing, bead insertion, labeling, and sign preparation.
- Operate Trotec laser systems for engraving and cutting applications.
- Apply vinyl graphics accurately and professionally.
- Perform quality inspections to ensure every sign meets company standards and ADA compliance requirements.
- Package, label, and organize completed signs for shipment and installation.
- Monitor workflow to keep production on schedule and meet customer deadlines.
- Perform routine cleaning, preventative maintenance, and basic troubleshooting on production equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure efficiency and quality.
We’re looking for someone with experience in one or more of the following:
- ADA sign manufacturing
- Sign production or fabrication
- UV printing
- CNC router operation
- Laser engraving or laser cutting
- Vinyl application
- Manufacturing or production environments
- Experience with Mimaki UV printers
- Experience with Trotec laser systems
- Experience using CorelDRAW
- Experience with Ruby Software and Mimaki Raster Link
- Knowledge of ADA sign standards and compliance requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot production equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Ability to prioritize multiple jobs and meet deadlines
- Ability to lift materials and work safely in a production environment
- Detail-oriented with exceptional quality standards
