Blood Component and Manufacturing Technician

Join the American National Red Cross as a 3rd Shift Blood Component and Manufacturing Technician and support a mission-driven, humanitarian organization. In this onsite role, you will process and manufacture blood components, operate specialized equipment, and follow strict SOPs to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. You'll label, store, and track products using computerized systems, maintain a clean and sterile environment, and collaborate with a compassionate, diverse team.

This position offers hands-on experience in a regulated lab/production setting while directly contributing to lifesaving care in communities nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor equipment to manufacture and prepare blood components during 3rd shift
• Follow strict SOPs, GMP, and safety regulations to ensure product quality and traceability
• Label, store, and track blood products using computerized inventory systems
• Perform quality checks, documentation, and data entry with high accuracy
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized lab/production environment
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines
• Handle, transport, and store blood and related materials safely and compliantly
• Troubleshoot routine equipment or process issues and escalate when needed
• Support continuous improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives
• Uphold Red Cross humanitarian mission and customer service standards
