Job Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase safety, quality, throughput, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Identify production bottlenecks, process constraints, excessive downtime, scrap, rework, and other sources of manufacturing waste.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis of production and process issues using tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone/Ishikawa, Pareto analysis, and fault-tree analysis.
  • Develop and implement standardized manufacturing processes, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
  • Establish and monitor process performance metrics, including OEE, cycle time, yield, scrap, downtime, throughput, and labor efficiency.
  • Perform time studies, line balancing, capacity analysis, and process capability studies.
  • Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends, variation, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement process controls to improve product consistency and reduce variation.
  • Collaborate with Quality & Production to investigate defects, nonconformances, customer complaints, and corrective actions.
  • Support Test Pressing and Production troubleshooting and provide technical assistance to operators, technicians, supervisors, and manufacturing personnel.
  • Participate in capital equipment projects, including equipment specifications, vendor selection, installation, commissioning, and startup.
  • Develop process documentation, flow diagrams, PFMEAs, control plans, and other manufacturing engineering documentation.
  • Assist with production capacity planning and identify opportunities to increase manufacturing capacity.
  • Train manufacturing personnel on new processes, equipment, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes comply with applicable quality, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production systems, and engineering principles.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience performing root-cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ability to analyze manufacturing data and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with operators, technicians, engineers, supervisors, and management.
  • Willingness to spend significant time on the manufacturing floor.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Power Automate/BI, ERP Software
  • Proficiency in scheduling & work prioritization
Summary Position Summary

We are seeking a Process Engineer with 2-5 years of manufacturing engineering experience to optimize production processes, improve manufacturing efficiency, reduce costs, and help drive continuous improvement across the manufacturing operation.

The Process Engineer will work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to identify process constraints, eliminate waste, improve product quality, increase throughput, and implement sustainable process improvements.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving problems on the manufacturing floor and using data, engineering principles, and Lean manufacturing methodologies to deliver measurable results.
