Job Title: CNC Tool Grinder/Programmer

Job Summary: TheCNC Tool Grinder/Programmer to produce premium quality, high precision,

carbide cutting tools using specific tool grinding machines and programs.

Will ensure proper set up machines, programming, tooling, and parts are machinedin accordance with manufacturing standards and specifications.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Program, setup andoperatemachines to produce tools per product specifications.

• Ensure product accuracy and uniformity throughout the manufacturingprocesscreating consistent parts.

• Read technical drawings/blueprints to develop custom programs for specialty tooling.

• Provide general preventative maintenance to all machines.

• Identifywheel wear on ALL wheel types

• Create master programs for all standard andmodifiedstandard endmills.

• Set-up, inspect, produce good first piece & run production on drills, keyway cutters, dovetail cutters & reamers.

• Create programs and wheel offsetstodrills, keyway cutters, dovetail cutters & reamers.

• Create master programs for ANY cuttingtoolwithin software capabilities.

• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in machining, programming or related field is preferred.

• 5+ years of experience in CNC tool and grinder programming.

• Must be proficient in using
  
  Numroto,RollomaticVGPro, Walter Tool Studio and/or Anca Tool Roomsoftware  (multiple disciples preferred).

• Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes and programming languages.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Requires hands-on experience with G-code programming to support CNC machine setup, troubleshooting, and production efficiency

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing with some lifting, bending, and twisting.

• Ability tolift upto 50 pounds.

• Ability to stoop,bendor kneel when required.
