The Continuous Improvement Manager leads process optimization, efficiency improvements, and waste reduction across the manufacturing facility. Using Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven problem-solving, this hands-on role builds scalable, cost-effective production systems and influences site culture without initial direct reports.
- Drive site-wide operational excellence to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and cost.
- Facilitate Lean tools, including value stream mapping, 5S, SMED, DMAIC, and Gemba walks.
- Implement standard work, visual management, daily routines, and KPI dashboards.
- Analyze production data to identify chronic loss drivers and optimize line performance.
- Partner with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain to reduce downtime, minimize material waste, and support product scale-ups.
- Train and mentor site personnel in Lean methodologies and structured problem-solving.
- Apply root cause analysis (4M, Fishbone, 5 Whys) to close performance gaps and manage process upgrades.
- Report project outcomes, financial savings, and performance updates to site leadership.
