Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Attend College of Business events, programs, and activities to capture high-quality photos and short videos for marketing and communications use.
- Photograph a variety of event types including lectures, networking receptions, student programs, guest speakers, and community engagements.
- Coordinate with the communications or marketing team to identify priority moments, speakers, and storytelling opportunities at events.
- Draft and schedule social media posts highlighting events, student achievements, and college initiatives. Create engaging captions and assist with light content writing aligned with the college’s voice and brand guidelines. Post content across social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Linked In, Facebook).
- Provide same-day or next-day content turnaround for time-sensitive posts.
- Perform other communications and event support tasks as assigned.
- Interest in marketing, communications, media, business, or a related field
- Basic photography skills with the ability to capture clear, well-composed images in a variety of lighting and event settings
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to craft concise, engaging captions and posts
- Creative eye for visual storytelling and brand consistency
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet quick turnaround deadlines
Must be enrolled as a student at Belmont University.
