“We help people take their next step in following Jesus.”
Nashville Christian Church was founded in April 1888 in the village of Nashville, Indiana as an independent restoration movement Christian Church. The Church has a congregation of between 125 and 150 people and is blessed to have a campus consisting of the Church, office/admin, Field House (for youth), and the Life House (meeting area used for small groups, gatherings, and after service discussions).
We have strategically acquired these properties and are debt‑free. We are located approximately 40 miles south of Indianapolis.
Nashville, Indiana, known as the “Art Colony of the Midwest,” is a charming, rustic town in Brown County renowned for its 100+ artist studios, galleries, and specialty shops set against scenic rolling hills. As a major tourist destination near Brown County State Park, it offers a cozy, walkable downtown, fall foliage, local wineries, and live music, scenic natural setting, particularly in spring and fall.
The town is a bustling, pedestrian‑friendly, year‑round, or seasonal shopping / art destination for unique crafts, locally made goods and antiques. Outdoor activities abound with the Brown County State Park, Yellowwood State Forest, and Lake Monroe, offering hiking, biking, and boating.
