Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring a TN or compact RN license and a minimum of one year recent PACU experience.
Responsibilities- Position is in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) within a hospital operating room environment
- Day shift, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
- Assignment length of 13 weeks
- Patient population includes post-operative surgical cases requiring recovery and monitoring
- Responsible for providing post-anesthesia care to recovering surgical patients
- Candidates must submit required credentials, including license verification and certification copies, without gaps
- Compliance with hospital policies and dress code is expected
- This assignment does not accept first-time travelers
- Active TN or compact RN license required
- At least 1 year of recent PACU experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certification issued by AHA or ARC, unexpired for at least 30 days after start
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- A professional reference is required for consideration
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility; locals are not eligible
