Title: Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift

Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Shift Frequency: Typically 3–4 weekend shifts per 4‑week period

Floating: As needed based on unit census and staffing needs

Weekly Estimated Pay: $1570–$1650

• Provide critical care nursing support for CCU/cardiac critical care patients, including cardiogenic shock populations
• Complete comprehensive assessments; interpret telemetry, hemodynamic data, and trends; and elevate changes in patient condition promptly
• Manage and monitor advanced cardiac support devices (IABP, Impella) according to unit protocols and provider orders
• Support CRRT therapy when applicable and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes
• Administer medications and titrate vasoactive/critical drips as ordered; complete required documentation per facility policy
• Coordinate procedures and ensure safe handoffs and transitions of care across units/services as needed
• Promote a positive patient and family experience through clear communication, education, and compassionate care
• Follow unit dress code (scrubs in galaxy blue, red, or black; scrub jackets/vests only) and adhere to all safety and infection prevention standards

Experience: Strong critical care experience required; cardiac critical care experience required

License: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state license requirements apply)

Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS

• PA catheter (Swan‑Ganz) and hemodynamic monitoring
• IABP (Intra‑Aortic Balloon Pump)
• Impella
• CRRT (preferred)
