Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Burn ICU/PCU position, requiring a TN or compact license and NIH Stroke certification.

• Position is in the Burn ICU within a hospital setting
• Provides progressive care to burn and critical care patients
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Floating may be required based on operational needs
• Care for critically ill burn patients in a specialized ICU environment
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• No local candidates accepted; must live at least 50 miles from the facility
• Certifications must be active and not expire within the first 30 days of assignment
• Assignments are not open to candidates previously employed permanently by the facility

• Active RN license in TN or Compact state required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Progressive Care or Burn ICU
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from AHA or ARC required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Submission requires valid US SSN and date of birth for consideration
• Valid professional references required (one for TN, two for Florida/Missouri submissions)
