Key Responsibilities of the Travel PCU RN:
Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients requiring intermediate or step-down level monitoring
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Administer medications, manage drips, and monitor telemetry and vital signs
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Provide education and emotional support to patients and families
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system
Requirements of the Travel PCU RN:
Active RN license  (state-specific or compact)
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum of 2 years of recent PCU experience  in an acute care setting
Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient assessment skills
