Travel Nurse RN – Labor & Delivery (L&D) – Hermitage, Tennessee
Job SummaryTNAA Total Med RN is seeking a Travel Nurse RN with experience in Labor & Delivery for an immediate 13‑week assignment in Hermitage, TN. 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts are required.
Responsibilities- Provide care and support to women before, during and after delivery.
- Assist physicians with epidural administration, pain medication, episiotomies and cesarean delivery preparations.
- Monitor labor progress, including contractions, cervix changes and fetal status.
- Implement breathing techniques and patient comfort measures.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment; promptly manage bodily fluids.
- Aid physicians with drapes, gloves, gowns and delivery instruments.
- Ensure immediate newborn care.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum 3 years recent acute care experience.
- ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN certifications (additional certifications may be required).
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean and stoop for extended periods.
- Capability to lift up to 20–50 pounds safely.
- Strong coping skills for a fast‑paced environment and ability to relate to diverse patients.
Pay is based on 12‑hour shifts, 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
