Job SummaryApplies the nursing process to plan and implement the care of patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning. Furthers professional growth by engaging in learning activities according to the Board of Nursing standards.
ShiftNight shift position with a minimum weekend requirement of 4 shifts per 6‑week schedule.

- Multi‑System Organ Failure & Sepsis
- Drug Overdose & GI Bleeds
- Diabetic Keto acidosis & Hypertensive Crisis
- Acute/Chronic Renal Failure
- Liver Failure / Cirrhosis

ICU: 1:1‑2 | Stepdown: 1:3‑4
Preferred Candidates2 years of acute care experience or 1 year of ICU experience.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborates in establishing the plan of care, coordinates and implements care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum.
- Analyzes comprehensive information pertinent to the patient’s care and management to determine nursing diagnosis.
- Continually utilizes the nursing process to evaluate patient’s progress toward goals and applies appropriate interventions to ensure effective outcomes.
- Employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
- Additional duties may be assigned.
- Care Planning (Novice):
Demonstrates ability to anticipate resource needs, identify distinct tasks, set priorities, schedule activities, meet deadlines, and organize work within areas of direct responsibility. Handles multiple assignments simultaneously by prioritizing work. Adapts to changes with minimal disruption. - Nursing Patient Education (Novice):
Provides basic patient education in moderate difficulty practical applications. - Nursing Patient Assessment & Evaluation (Novice):
Assesses and evaluates patients; conducts primary care interviews and physical examinations; recognizes problems, asks questions, and contacts team members; gathers clinical data for referral and treatment. - Evidence‑Based Practice (Novice):
Searches for evidence to answer clinical questions under direction of others.
