Salary
: $28.00/hour plus Overtime and Shift Differential

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing care in a residential detox setting serving adults with co-occurring substance use and mental health conditions. This role supports client health and safety by delivering care in accordance with applicable nursing standards and organizational policies.

• Takes client's vital signs, treats wounds, and evaluates physical condition of clients as needed in emergency situations
• Maintains record of persons treated, and prepares incident reports
• Completes client medical history to be added to the clinical record
• Performs tuberculosis testing on all clients at time of admission and employees and makes appropriate referrals for individual's exhibiting S/S of TB or presenting with positive TB test
• Is responsible for the follow-up and documentation of medical information into the client's clinical record
• Completes the medical admission process and assists the medical records department, as needed
• Is available to answer medical questions after hours as needed by on-call staff
• Performs other duties as required or needed

• An Active Unencumbered Nursing License in the State of Tennessee, required
• Must have strong computer skills with ability to type 30 wpm
• Must demonstrate effective interpersonal communication skills and strong organizational skills with paperwork
• Maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications (required)
• Must pass background check and drug screening (required)
• Valid TN D.L. with 'F' endorsement required; 'F' endorsement can be obtained once hired

• Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program
• High School Diploma or GED
